Formed in 2019- The Brockton Bruisers are the first recreational Roller Derby League in Massachusetts. We play short track roller derby and welcome all levels of skaters. No experience necessary!
COMMUNITY
The Brockton Bruisers are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and are committed to bring strength and confidence to BBRD members through a team building environment; to promote inclusivity in our community; and to support the community of Brockton through team organized events and fundraisers.
Our Mission
Current mission :Brockton Bruisers Roller Derby is a recreational amateur sports league dedicated to empowering its members through the sport of roller derby. We are a community-based organization committed to positively representing the city of Brockton.
The objectives and purpose of this organization shall be:
1 to provide training and instruction in the sport of short track roller derby;
2 to bring strength and confidence to BBRD members through a team building environment;
3 to promote inclusivity in our community;
4 to sponsor, host and/or participate in events and activities that raise awareness of the sport of short track roller derby;
5 to support the community of Brockton through team organized events and fundraisers.
